Program Payment Agreement
I understand that I must comply with the program deadlines below:
I understand that the program cost must be paid in full by:
Fall Short-Term - September 15th
Winter/Spring Break - November1st
Summer - April 15th
I understand that the last day to withdraw from the program with full program refund is:
Fall Short-Term - August 30th
Winter/Spring Break - October 10th
Summer - March 20th
I am responsible for any charges paid on my behalf not included in the program cost. (i.e. airfare, insurance, group tickets, etc.)
I understand that in order to withdraw from my program I must submit the Study Abroad
Withdrawal Form online - https://tamiu.wufoo.com/forms/study-abroad-withdrawal-form/
The day the online form is received by IE will mark the official program withdrawal date.
*Note: I am responsible for all statements above regardless of date Program Payment Agreement is submitted.
I have read and initialed all the statements above and am aware of my program payment responsibilities.
The Study Abroad Payment Agreement is a legally binding document that sets the terms of my Study
Abroad Payment Plan.
In the event I am awarded funds from other sources prior to the payment due date, the funds will be used to pay this payment plan in full before additional funds are paid to me.
If the payment plan is not paid in full by the due date a Business Office Hold will be placed on my account, until the charge is fully paid, preventing me from: registration, obtaining a transcript
(official and unofficial), receiving my degree, and viewing grades online.
If I fail to make payment arrangements and my account is sent to a third-party for collection a fee up to 33.33% of the delinquent balance will be added to my debt.
In the event that my account is sent to a third-party for collection a State Hold will be placed on my account and will not be released until the debt is paid in full.
I understand that:
• In the event that I am awarded funds from other sources prior to the Payment Plan due date(s), the funds will be used to pay this Payment Plan in full before additional funds are paid to me;
• A TAMIU student who is indebted will not be allowed to register, obtain transcripts, grades, or any other information until such debts are paid; dropping a class or withdrawing from TAMIU does not cancel or void indebtedness to the university.
A STUDENT WHO FAILS TO MAKE FULL PAYMENT OF TUITION AND MANDATORY FEES, INCLUDING ANY INCIDENTAL FEES, BY THE DUE DATE MAY BE PROHIBITED FROM REGISTERING FOR CLASSES UNTIL FULL PAYMENT IS MADE. A STUDENT WHO FAILS TO MAKE FULL PAYMENT PRIOR TO THE END OF THE SEMESTER OR TERM MAY BE DENIED CREDIT FOR THE WORK DONE THAT SEMESTER OR TERM.
In the event of failure to pay this note at its maturity, and if the same is placed in the hands of third-party for collection, there shall be due hereon an additional fee of no more than 33.33% of the delinquent balance incurred in the collection of said note. Additionally, a “State Hold” will be set up and not released until the note has been paid in full.
